The 4th International Aquaculture Forum, Guadalajara 2008 became Mexico 's most important aquaculture conference.

FIACUI 2008

With the participation of 74 companies and over 1,400 national and international participants, the 4th International Aquaculture Forum became consolidated as one of the most important showcases for the aquaculture sector at the international level. A long three days of conferences and commercial exhibition, FIACUI responded to the needs of a sector in constant growth. It put on the discussion table the industry´s main challenges and problems, to docus the plural generation of solutions that strengthen the international aquaculture industry.

At the same time, the 1st Latin American Aquariophilia Meeting and the 12th National Aquariophilia Meeting took place in the same venue.

The show´s key point was the conference program in which national and international experts gave over 70 talks in five rooms. Throughout three days of conferences, they spoke about the main subjects regarding tilapia, shrimp, marine fish, aquaponics, and aquariophilia.

Simultaneosly, FIACUI 2008 was able to have, in a single site, a large commercial exhibition area, where aquaculture companies, feed producers, laboratories, service providers, and technological equipment suppliers offering metering and pumping equipment, ponds and aquariums, shared therir products with visitors throughout the three day exhibit.
